<image:caption>The Early Church members were trained to place the family’s needs ahead of their own. The fracturing of family relationships that has become common in America has impacted people’s perception of the value of family. <image:title>The Vision - We can regain the “Early Church Vibe”</image:title>
<image:caption>Even though we face challenges, we can regain the “Early Church Vibe!” As believers, we are empowered by the Creator of all! The Holy Spirit indwells us, continues to refine us, and divinely enables us. However, to engage in God's mission, we have to step back and rethink where we are. How much have we been assimilated into the culture? Are our thoughts and actions in line with what God’s Word tells us? Once we have clarity that change is needed, we can approach the Father and allow Him to guide us. We can be certain that God still wishes to use us to make a difference to those around us. He desires for us to be in a close relationship with Him. He directs us to pursue unity with other believers and to treat each other exceptionally well. His heart is for us to help others know how much He loves them and wishes for them to know Him. God’s Word is meant to help us realize that He always wants us to draw close to Him and avoid being misled into moving away from Him. Satan and his forces have every intention of causing us to move away from God and destroying our relationships with others. Satan hates us and resents that God has adopted us into His family and placed us above the angels in authority. Our society has moved from honoring God to discounting any relationship with Him. It is easy to see how this is affecting us. Marriages are under attack and are often failing. People are angry and feel mistreated. All of the riches that are available to a few create a hurtful disparity with those who have little. Simply ask yourself, do the promises the media and politicians express to us seem to be bringing us together or driving us further apart? Believers, who choose to live according to God’s views, can demonstrate radical love to others. This love is contagious and attractive. Once we get excited about people rather than stuff, we will find an eager audience waiting to hear what we have to say; however, they will “hear” most clearly by what we do as we show our love for them.
